Wildlife & Environmental Conservation Society of Zambia spearheads environmental awareness at all levels of the community, promoting the wise use of natural resources, and providing effective independent environmental action in Zambia

Wildlife & Environmental Conservation Society of Zambia has used funds provided by the Elephant Charge to run their Chongololo clubs which work in schools across Zambia to promote conservation and wildlife education.

Wildlife & Environmental Conservation Society of Zambia has been provided 13 grants by the Elephant Charge totalling $356,261.

• $22,029 - Fuchs Elephant Charge 2023 - Create 10 CCCCZ provincial hubs, targeting 6 new radio stations, continued KBN TV environmental serices, printing of club magazines, materials and staff support for activities across the country.
• $30,645 - Fuchs Elephant Charge 2022 - To continue and expand country wide conservation clubs and weekly radio programs, outdoor learning activities, waste clean ups and campaigns, M&E, conservation awards and scholarships
• $30,303 - Fuchs Elephant Charge 2021 - To continue and expand country wide conservation clubs and weekly radio programs, outdoor learning activities, waste clean ups and campaigns, M&E, conservation awards and scholarships.
• $25,000 - Fuchs Elephant Charge 2020 - Country wide clubs supported through Covid period with social media videos, continued weekly radio program and more
• $30,349 - Fuchs Elephant Charge 2019 - Environmental club support, club weekly radio programs, football for conservation, school M&E visits etc
• $38,900 - Fuchs Elephant Charge 2018 - Continued work with clubs and new activites - including nature photography course
• $32,842 - Fuchs Elephant Charge 2017 - Chongololo & Chipembele Clubs expand to over 1050
