Chipembele Wildlife Education Trust Chipembele operates to teach Zambian children and local communities the value of wildlife and their environment so they may be conserved for present and future generations.

Chipembele Wildlife Education Trust has used funds provided by the Elephant Charge to support the Chipembele Conservation Education Center, outreach programs, the Chipembele Rangers Scheme and Chipembele Conservation Scholarships.

Chipembele Wildlife Education Trust has been provided 14 grants by the Elephant Charge totalling $136,012.

• $13,080 - Fuchs Elephant Charge 2023 - Operational costs of the Chipembele Conservation Centre for Term. These costs include food, diesel, vehicle maintenance, stationery, prizes, staff wages, building maintenance, cleaning materials, educational materials, a contribution to curriculum development and facilitation and to Monitoring and Evaluation.
• $18,387 - Fuchs Elephant Charge 2022 - Field trips into the National Park for school children, Nature Nights expeditions for students, Chipembele Conservation Education Centre visits for local school children, annual environmental campaign, internship with Chipembele
• $19,091 - Fuchs Elephant Charge 2021 - To support the Conservation Education Outreach Programme - including 4 Community Conservation Educators (CCEs), a Community Outreach Coordinator and a Conservation Education Manager. The team teaches a total of 630 students and 16 community groups every week in the greater Mfuwe area.
