Zambian Carnivore Programme Logo Zambian Carnivore Programme is a non-profit Zambian registered trust dedicated to the conservation of large carnivore species (African wild dog, cheetah, lion, leopard, hyaena), their prey, and the ecosystems they reside in. Our study systems hold some of the greatest diversity and abundance of African wildlife in the region and span a variety of management regimes, from strictly protected to hunted, to communally owned and private lands.

Zambian Carnivore Programme has used funds provided by the Elephant Charge to support anti-snaring work, the Conservation Biologist Training Programme and Secondary Education work with Treetops School in Kafue which has welcomed1,600 kids since 2013, and 400 kids from 14 schools 2016.

Zambian Carnivore Programme has been provided 11 grants by the Elephant Charge totalling $102,542.
