Chimfunshi Wildlife Orphanage is one of the largest and oldest chimpanzee sanctuaries of the world, currently with 130 rescued chimps. Chimfunshi also works to protect the Zambian local wildlife, including rescue, rehabilitate and release. The newly built veterinary hospital enhances this work. The community work includes the Twampane Community School and a Community Health Clinic.
